Annual meeting looks to the future

There is hope for the future of GP practices.

That was the message at our annual meeting from guest speaker Dr Krishna Kasaraneni (pictured).

The meeting attracted an audience that reflected the diversity of GPs and practice managers across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, including many younger professionals.

Afterwards, Dr Kasaraneni wrote to us to say: “It was refreshing to see such a vibrant and inclusive LMC.”

Your LMC has been through a year of change, and Chair Nick Simpson outlined our clear focus for the future – to advise, support and represent you.

Medical secretaries Saqib Anwar and Anu Rao reported on the LMC’s work, including providing professional and pastoral support to GPs and building links with influential NHS organisations.
