A fresh face at your LMC

We are delighted to welcome Claire Deare to the LMC team as Development Manager. She will work closely with the LMC Board and office team to implement our strategic plan.

With nine years’ experience as a Practice and Business Manager in both county and city, Claire will also have a hand in supporting Practice Managers and ensuring the LMC maintains effective systems to manage the caseload generated by members’ enquiries and concerns.

In just one month, Claire has already submitted a funding bid to support GP teams with federated working in addition to other projects and responsibilities including:

-        Communication and engagement with GPs and their teams

-        Improving the LMC back office IT system

-        Developing a new, more interactive website and mobile app for practices

-        Developing a case management system that helps the LMC track enquiries, responses and communicate effectively with practices.

"There is currently a low morale across our workforce, and there's lots of change ahead” explains Claire. “Moving forward, people want to know that there is someone out there who is looking out for them and their interests, and I'm excited to be a part of that at the LMC."

Claire has delivered great results in a short space of time, and we wish her luck in her new role.
